This 850 seat facility is successful in meeting the parish’s vision to provide a new church that reflects a traditional “Simple Gothic” style while meeting all of the modern requirements of an active and growing faith community.
Larkin Architect Limited facilitated an “Integrated Design Process” that engaged the design team, parish youth, parish ministry representatives, building, and sacred space committee members to develop a solution that articulates, in built form, the pilgrim journey towards Christ while seamlessly incorporating sustainable design strategies that reinforce responsible stewardship of God’s creation and will net significant long-term operational savings for the parish. The sense of movement towards the sacred is highlighted through a series of planned “thresholds” that invite parishioners to pause, reflect, and prepare to participate fully, actively, and consciously in the sacred mysteries of the liturgy
